81 Frugal Date Ideas!
81 Frugal Date Ideas!
This Sunday John and I are celebrating our 7th anniversary since our first date! I can not believe it has already been seven years. The past seven years have literally flown by in a blink of an eye. I was thinking back on what it was like when we first started dating compared to being married.
When we were dating we......
-Held hands walking through Target
-Sat next to each other at dinner instead of across the table
-I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw John's name on my phone
Now that we are married.....
- We power through Target and divide and conquer our list
-We sit across from each other at dinner and normally have a to-do list we are working on
- I now smile each time I see John's name on the phone and feel a sense of contentment and love
I really want to focus on making sure we are not taking each other for granted this year and bring back the feeling of giddiness you get when you are dating. I decided to come up with a list of frugal date nights that we can enjoy throughout the year. We started doing mystery dates a few months ago and they have been fantastic. I wanted to add to these dates and find ways that we can spend time together and not have it cost a ton of money.

What are your favorite frugal dates?
Matt D.
I think that's kinda nice, after your marriage that is, if you can feel love and contentment after all those years. Also, a boat trip could be nice for a date. Don't you think?
Jessica
Great ideas Tammilee! Thanks for reminding me that you don't have to live in a big city to enjoy a date night. I love a reason to get all fancy and dressed up but I can be equally as excited carving out a night to be intentional about spending time with my Love. Thanks for these suggestions- I'm going to plan a few for next month!
Tammilee
Jessica, I am so glad you enjoyed the suggestions! Happy Date night!

We did a group date cooking class a few months ago with some friends and it was so much fun. We made an entire Italian meal from salad to dessert together.
