ย Crock Pot Ranch Oyster Crackers Recipe
Oh my goodness! I have to admit that each time I walked through the kitchen I ate an entire handful or two of these. They are so dang good!
We first shared these back in 2013! I can't believe it has been so long since we started making these.
These are so great on top of soup or salads.
We have also made Dill Oyster Crackers and Spicy Oyster Crackers in the oven. Did you see the Old Bay Goldfish we made? They are delicious!
They are the perfect snack for road trips, flights, or sitting at your desk. I have to only bring a bowl of them to my desk or I will end up enjoying the entire container during the day.
They are so easy to make and taste fantastic.
Ingredients
- Oyster Crackersย
- Powdered ranch salad dressing mix
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Vegetable oil
You can make these spicy if you would like with the addition of red pepper flakes. I have also seen the addition of lemon pepper or dried dill weed.
The great thing about these crackers is you can spice them how you love them. I like to keep mine garlic ranch so they pair great with soups and salads.
Equipment
- Ziploc bag - We use these ziploc bag stand holders to keep the ziplocs upright when pouring into them.
- Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.
- Storage container
These are so good! The bowl of them did not last very long in the house. I can't wait to make them again and try them in this great Tomato Basil Soup.
Great Crockpot Soups
These soups would be perfect for pairing with these Ranch Oyster Crackers!

Hi there, I was wondering if you could tell me the calorie count on this Crock Pot Ranch Oyster Crackers Recipe?
thanks!!!
Cecilia
I have made a similar recipe in the oven for many years. My recipe calls for 2each 10 oz package of oyster crackers, 1 package hidden valley ranch dressing dry mix, 1 1/2 cups oil, 1 1/2 Tbsp dill weed and 1 tsp lemon pepper. Place on a foiled line baking sheet and Bake at 250 degrees for one hour stirring about every 20 minutes. we eat them by the handfuls also and they never last long. I plan on trying my recipe and yours in the slow cooker.
