Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cocktail

This past weekend I received an amazing picnic basket from Smirnoff with their new Smirnoff Sorbet Light Strawberry and Peach Vodka's inside.

As soon as we saw the new Smirnoff flavors our minds were racing with cocktail ideas. Thankfully it is summer, oh so hot and a nice cool cocktail was the perfect treat at the end of a long day.

Sooooooooo John and I put our heads together and had fun mixing up a few great cocktails with the new Smirnoff flavors. Today we are going to talk about the Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cocktail which is my new favorite drink and later this week we will talk about John's new favorite peach drink.

This Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cocktail is a bit dangerous!

This strawberry cocktail recipe goes down so smooth on a hot summer evening. I am going to admit here and now that this drink did not last long after the photos were taken 🙂

Oh my!!! YUM!!!!

• Smirnoff Strawberry Sorbet Light Summer Strawberry Vodka
• Diet Lemonade
• Fresh Basil

A muddler helps get the flavor from the basil into the drink.
