Fun 2-Ingredient Ranch Pickles are the perfect side dish. They take minutes to prepare and taste fantastic.
2 Ingredient Ranch Pickles Recipe
Here is another viral TikTok recipe similar to the TikTook Booty Dip we shared yesterday.
When I made Kool-Aid Pickles last summer, I received many messages that I had lost my mind.ย
However, I also received messages that people loved them, balancing it out.
These Ranch Pickles will likely get the same messages but are worth it.ย I will admit that I put pickles on my grilled cheese sandwiches, veggie burgers, and anything I can.
I love pickles and ranch dressing, so this recipe was a match made in heaven.
Plus, it only takes two ingredients and two minutes to prepare, which makes me happy.
Ingredient
Here is a quick overview of the simple ingredients for making epic Ranch Pickles! The printable recipe card at the bottom of the post includes specific measurements and step-by-step instructions.
- Pickles
- Dry Ranch Seasoning
Pickles - This recipe can be made with dill pickle spears, sandwich slices, or dill pickle chips pickles depending on how you plan to serve them.
You can use your favorite brand jar of store-bought pickles for these TikTok Ranch Pickles.
Just make sure you get a 24 ounce jar dill pickle spears or similar so you have enough liquid to absorb the ranch seasoning.
Ranch Seasoning Mix - We use Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning but you can use a homemade ranch seasoning or a flavored spicy ranch seasoning.
Equipment Needed
NONE! All you need it the jar the pickles come in.
How to make Ranch Pickles
I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.
Open the jar of refrigerator pickles, and pour in the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Mix.ย
Shake it! Shake it! Shake it! Shaking the jar helps spread the ranch mix evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
Enjoy!
Preparation and Storage
Make Ahead: This is a make-ahead recipe, as the Ranch Pickles will not be ready to eat until they have been in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Storage:ย
Always refrigerate your Ranch Pickles in the same airtight jar for freshness and quality when youโre not enjoying them. The longer they sit in the fridge, the more flavor they will have.
The pickles should last until the best-buy date on the jar.
Freezing/How to Freeze:
We donโt recommend freezing these pickles. They are naturally very wet from the brine and will release moisture if frozen and thawed, resulting in a soggy, diluted mess.
Luckily, these pickles disappear in our home almost as soon as they appear in the fridge. LOL

Tips for the Best Ranch Pickles
- You can use the leftover ranch-flavored pickle juice to brine chicken.
- If you are worried about shaking the glass jar of dill pickles or breaking it, transfer them to a large Ziploc bag or a plastic container and add the ranch seasoning packet.ย
- Do not drain the pickle brine from the jar. You want the juice to help absorb the mix into the pickles.
- We suggest shaking the jar before enjoying the pickles each time to help distribute the seasoning well.ย
- These Pickles have been blowing up the internet and social media. They are a fun way to get guests talking at a party or barbecue.
