Everyone absolutely loves rich double chocolate cookies! I love that you can have fresh cookies in less than 30 minutes.

One of the best things about this cake mix cookie recipe is you can change it up with different flavor cake mixes. We made strawberry cake mix cookies a few weeks ago and they tasted amazing.

We also have funfetti cake mix cookies, Lemon cake mix cookies, red velvet cake mix cookies, and chocolate chip cake mix cookies.

While I love baking from scratch there are days when you need a quick and easy baked treat. The days when you are running around just trying to get life taken care of but also really wanting something sweet and delicious.

Those are the days that make keeping a few extra cake mixes in the pantry a really good idea. I now keep multiple cake mixes in the pantry just in case I want to whip up something fun.

Ingredients

• Chocolate Cake Mix/Devil's Food Cake mix
• Eggs
• Vegetable Oil or melted butter

Optional Add ons - Chocolate chips, M&Ms, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's Pieces, Sprinkles

Chocolate Cake Mix - You can use any cake mix including Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker. Just pick your favorite chocolate cake mix including devil's food cake, chocolate fudge, or regular chocolate cake.

Equipment

Mixing Bowl - Make sure you use a large enough mixing bowl to mix chocolate cake mix with the other ingredients.

Cookie Scoop - A cookie scoop/ice cream scoop is a great way to get even cookies.

Baking Sheet

Parchment Paper/baking mats - Parchment paper or baking mats will help make it easy to remove these cookies.

Recipe Tips

Don't forget to preheat the oven to 350 degrees

This cookie dough is pretty thick but you should be able to mix it with a spatula or wooden spoon.
