One of my favorite restaurant drinks is the Red Robin Freckled Lemonade. It is always so refreshing and tastes amazing. We have been ordering Red Robin delivered pretty often this past year especially now that they have impossible burgers and you can customize your burger toppings.

I realized that the Freckled Lemonade was $4.99 when we ordered it so I decided to start making it at home. Since we are not eating in the restaurant we don't get to enjoy unlimited refills with delivery. By making this great strawberry lemonade at home I was able to make a pitcher of it and enjoy it with our meal.

I also switched to using Minute Maid light lemonade to save on calories when we make this recipe. You can easily make it with any brand of lemonade that you have available.

Ingredients

Frozen strawberries with juice
Minute Maid Lemonade
Ice

Frozen Strawberries - If you can't find strawberries in syrup you can use regular frozen strawberries and crush them right before you use them so they are jucier.

Minute Maid Lemonade - Red Robin uses Minute Maid Lemonade products. To get the closest flavor of a Freckled Lemonade you will want to stick with Minute Maid. You can use regular or light lemonade. You can use fresh lemonade if you don't want to make this with a store-bought lemonade.

Garnish - Fresh Strawberries, lemon wedge

Equipment Needed

Tall Glass - The size of glass is up to you.

Cute paper Straw - for a fun look add in a cute paper straw.

Recipe Tips

Add the strawberries to the glass before you fill the glass with ice. This will help distribute the strawberries throughout the drink when you stir it.

You can make an entire pitcher of this strawberry lemonade by doubling or tripling the recipe below. This is the perfect summer drink.

For a frosty summer treat, you can blend this Freckled Lemonade with ice and turn it into a slushie.

To make a spiked Freckled Lemonade you can add in regular vodka or citrus vodka.
