We don’t recommend freezing this cookie-inspired cocktail shot. Without a high-proof base spirit, it may freeze solid in your freezer.

Vegetarian + Vegan Options:

The Girl Scout Cookie Shot is vegetarian but not vegan, as Kahlua and Baileys contain dairy. Replace both with plant-based substitutes if you are vegan or are making it for vegan friends.

Baileys has Baileys Almande, a dairy-free alternative made with vegan-friendly vanilla and almonds.

Gluten-Free:

Kahlúa confirms in its FAQs that while it is not certified gluten-free, it does not use gluten-containing ingredients in making Kahlúa Original or its other flavors.

Gluten-free drinkers should use a gluten-free alternative to Baileys, as Baileys does not guarantee that its products are gluten-free.

Many peppermint schnapps brands are gluten-free, so finding a suitable liqueur should be easy.
