Ingredients
- Bacon
- Ground beef
- Onion
- Chili powder
- Ground cumin
- Brown sugar
- Medium heat chili beans
- Tomato paste
- Medium salsa
- Pickled jalapeno peppers
- Salt and pepper
Garnish
- French fried onions
- Shredded cheddar cheese

Crock Pot Spicy Bacon and Beef Chili Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 slices Bacon crumbled
- 2 ยฝ pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar packed
- 15 oz medium heat chili beans 15oz
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1 ยฝ cups medium salsa
- ยผ cup pickled jalapeno peppers chopped drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
- ยพ cup French Fried Onion Rings
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
Instructions
- In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp, transfer to paper towel lined plate
- Add beef and onion to the fat in the skillet, increase heat to medium-high, brown beef, drain off fat
- Transfer beef mixture to crock pot, add in chili powder, cumin, brown sugar, beans, tomato paste, salsa, and jalapenos. Season to taste with salt and pepper, add in crumbled bacon.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours
- Garnish with onion rings and cheese
