On the first day of our Carnival Horizon Cruise, I enjoyed this Carnival Fun Ship Cocktail, and I just had to share it with all of you! I will place a warning label on this cocktail. It packs a serious punch!
Carnival Fun Ship Cocktail
I only needed one to feel tipsy and ready for our cruise. I ended up sharing it with John and a few friends. Thankfully, there are more than enough food options available on board to soak up all of the alcohol.
I am also a total lightweight, so I have a bit of booze, and I am feeling it. LOL!

The great restaurants on the Carnival Horizon include JiJi's Asian Kitchen, Cucina Del Capitano, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse (with a new menu), and the fantastic buffet.
We might have checked out the daily selection of cakes to see what they offered; they were the perfect sweet treat during the day. Plus, there is unlimited froyo, which is so good!

- Bacardi Light Rum
- Vodka
- Apricot Brandy
- Fruit Punch (recipe: 2 oz. Orange Juice. 1 oz Pineapple Juice. 1 oz Sweet & Sour Mix)

Bacardí discontinued its 151 Rum in 2016. You can use another high-proof rum or a regular rum in its place.
We have included the proportions for fruit punch in this cocktail recipe, but you can also use four ounces of premade fruit punch.
Vegetarian + Vegan Option: The Carnival Fun Ship Cocktail contains various typically safe mixers for vegetarians. Since processing methods vary significantly across manufacturers, check each ingredient to ensure the manufacturer uses no animal-derived ingredients.
Gluten-Free: Per the same guidance for vegetarians and vegans, look for gluten-free labels on each ingredient to ensure your drink is safe for a gluten-free diet.
Alcohol-Free Option:
Replace the amaretto, rum, vodka, and brandy with NA alternatives to make this cocktail recipe alcohol-free.
Angostura bitters contain alcohol, but cocktails require such small amounts that you can add them to a drink and keep it non-alcoholic.
