Reuben Dip Crock Pot Recipe
If you love Reuben sandwiches you are going to love this Crock Pot Reuben Dip!
Ingredients
- Sauerkraut
- Shredded swiss cheese
- Lunchmeat package of corned beef
- Butter
- Egg
Rye bread toasted for dipping. You can also use crackers.
Recipe Tips
Make sure you drain the sauerkraut and get as much liquid out as you can. This will help make sure your Reuben Dip Crock Pot Appetizer is not soggy at the bottom.
If you are serving directly from your slow cooker I would stir this dip every so often to make sure that the corned beef is well distributed. This also helps move around any moisture that does collect on the bottom of the slow cooker.
We serve this with toasted Rye Bread and a variety of crackers. You can use any type of rye bread it really depends on what your favorites are. I like to use a mix of light and dark rye to add a bit of color contrast to the serving platter.
We also serve this with crackers in case any guests can't eat seeds in the rye bread.
If you have any leftovers I highly suggest making a grilled cheese sandwich with them. You can add in a bit more swiss cheese and make a Reuben dip grilled cheese on rye and it is amazing!!!
