- Mix everclear and cider together, you may need to move to a larger pot/pan if your crock pot is not large enough

Did you filter apple sider after cooking down?
Jodie
I made this and didnt have 1 liter of everclear so I did math and figured if I did 3/4 th of cider with the amount of ever clear it would be fine mine is very strong would it ruin it if I cooked more cider and added it to it?
Debbie Mascher
Do I take the cinnamon sticks out, before putting in jars?
Tammilee
Debbie, It really depends on how much cinnamon flavor you want. I tend to do half with and half without.
Debbie Mascher
After the cider and cinnamon stocks cool, do i remove the cinnamon sticks while waiting the 30 days?
Dean
I made it on the stove before. I also used fireball to give it the cinnamon taste. OH IT's soo good. I see there is a cinarator on the market. It's around the same proof as the ever clear. I may try that. It's cheaper.

How long did you cook cider on stove?

Does this need to be refrigerated? how long will it last?

Does it have to be drank in a certain amount of time?

I made some last year and it's still good. If anything, the flavor is even more mellow. The Everclear gives it a very long shelf life.

I have never tried making my own Moonshine. I need to try this.

Is it that time of the year already? The moonshine does sound very tempting, especially if it tastes like a pie

This looks awesome! I've had apple pie moonshine before, but never thought to make my own. Definitely need to try this.

I've only had flavored moonshine once, and it was some awful stuff that had a lot of sweeteners added to it. Yours sounds much more simple and much more delicious. Cute labels too!
