We are loving making air fryer recipes this summer! Spokane is heading into a crazy heatwave that is supposed to break a ton of heat records.

The air fryer is my go-to appliance along with the crockpot for making meals without heating up the house. We stocked the freezer with frozen foods that are easy to cook in the air fryer.

It is so dang easy to cook frozen chicken nuggets in the air fryer at 400 degrees. You don't have to worry that you are heating up the house while they cook.

We love pairing them with Air Fryer French Fries for a quick and easy meal. Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets are always a delicious idea!

Ingredients

Frozen Chicken Nuggets

You can use your favorite brand of frozen chicken nuggets. The cooking time may vary slightly based on how big or small the nuggets are.

Equipment needed

Air Fryer

Tongs - I like to use tongs to flip the chicken nuggets and safely remove them from the air fryer.

One of the best parts of chicken nuggets is being able to easily dip them in your favorite dipping sauce. Here are a few that we love!

Veggie Nuggets

If you are using veggie nuggets in the air fryer you will want to lower the cooking time to 6 to 8 minutes.

Recipe Tips

Every air fryer cooks just a little differently. You will want to check your chicken nuggets as they cook to make sure they are cooking correctly.

You do not want to stack the chicken nuggets. They need to be evenly spread in a single layer in the air fryer basket so the hot air can circulate the nuggets.

We do not use a preheated air fryer. You will want to check your air fryer instruction book to see if your specific air fryer needs pre-heating.

If you are air frying chicken nuggets in multiple batches the 2nd, 3rd and so on batches will cook faster than the 1st one.
