Freezing/How to Freeze: Transfer cooked leftovers to an airtight, freezer-safe container or bag, then enjoy them within three months.
How to Reheat: Cooked leftovers of this favorite Italian dish heat well in the microwave. You can also reheat them in an oven or air fryer set to 350ยฐF. Thaw any frozen portions in the fridge until cold but no longer frozen to ensure even cooking. Regardless of the method, your chicken must reach an internal temperature of 165ยฐF to be safe for consumption.

Recipe Variations
Substitutions: Serve this CrockPot Chicken Parmesan over your favorite cooked pasta! We recommend one that allows you to take forkable bites, such as penne.
Vegetarian Option: Replace the chicken breast with a meat-free alternative to make it vegetarian.
Vegan Option: In addition to replacing the chicken with a plant-based substitute, vegans should also use a vegan spaghetti sauce, grated parmesan, and mozzarella alternative to make this dish safe for a vegan diet.
Gluten-Free: Gluten-free eaters should replace all-purpose flour with gluten-safe flour. Itโs worth also checking the labels on your grated parmesan and mozzarella cheese, as some cheeses that have undergone processing may contain gluten.
Alcohol-Free Option: We donโt use any alcohol in this Chicken Parmesan recipe, but the blog Eat - Breathe - Love has a version with vodka sauce if this tickles your fancy!
Smaller Serving Size + Larger Group/More Servings: The written recipe yields four servings. Scale it up or down according to your desired yield, keeping in mind that you may need to work in batches if you scale up.ย ย
Make it Spicy: Replace the spaghetti sauce with arrabbiata sauce to infuse heat into your CrockPot Chicken Parmesan. Arrabbiata sauce is a red chili-based Italian pasta sauce.
Sugar-Free: The written recipe contains 8 grams of sugar per serving. Use a sugar-free spaghetti sauce to make it sugar-free.

This looks wonderful. I bet the chicken is super tender & I love that you didn't try to put the pasta in the crock pot... I am not a fan of that.
