How to make a classic Tequila Sunrise Cocktail at home! This tropical cocktail only takes a few ingredients and always tastes amazing.
Tequila Sunrise Recipe
When I think of Tequila Sunrises I instantly think of Mexico. We visited Cabo San Lucas on our Panama Canal cruise and absolutely loved it. We were only in port for 5 hours but let me just say we made the most of it we possibly could. We had a great time at the Cabo Wabo Cantina, Senor Frogs, Hard Rock Cafe, Shopping and so much more!
We had an amazing sunrise on our tender trip into town. It was absolutely gorgeous! So amazing to watch the sunrise over the water and the fishing boats heading out of Cabo harbor. This was truly a great way to start a fantastic day in Cabo San Lucas.
Ingredients to make a Tequila Sunrise
- Orange juice
- Tequila
- Grenadine
- orange slice
- maraschino cherry

Tequila Sunrise Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Ounce orange juice
- 2 Ounce tequila
- ½ Ounce grenadine
- orange slice for garnish
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Pour the tequila and the orange juice into a glass with ice cubes. Stir.
- Slowly pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass, it will sink and slowly rise to mix with the other ingredients naturally.
- Garnish with the orange slice and cherry.
