I have been meaning to share this Lavender Lemonade Vodka Cocktail for a while. My husband first tried a similar cocktail at a Spokane hotel grand opening years ago.

He came home and told me I HAD to make a Lavender Lemonade Cocktail ASAP! I would like to say that I jumped right on it and made one that weekend but we all know how life flies by and that didn't actually happen.

During one of our trips to Oakhurst, California we did a tasting at Oakhurst Spirits. During the tasting, we realized they have an amazing lavender vodka. My lovely husband turned and gave me the look. You know the one that says hmmmmm didn't I mention how amazing a cocktail with lavender and lemonade would be a while ago.

So finally I am sharing this delicious perfect spring and summer cocktail with everyone. I was able to get a bunch of lavender from the actual farm that produces the lavender used in Oakhurst Spirits Lavender Vodka while visiting the Oakhurst Farmers Market during a visit.

It smells amazing and I wish I would have picked up a few bunches to put out all over the house. This may be my excuse for flying back down to Oakhurst and visiting the farmer's market. It doesn't take much to convince me to head down to one of our favorite places. Any excuse to visit an Oakhurst restaurant and spend time on Bass Lake is a good excuse.

Ingredients

Lavender Vodka
Lemonade - Sparkling or Regular

Garnish - Lemon wheels

Lavender Vodka - We used Oakhurst Spirits Lavender Vodka. This vodka is produced in the heart of Oakhurst, California which is the southern gateway to Yosemite National Park. We love stopping in to Oakhurst Spirits to see what new products they have. We have made quite a few things with their Bourbon.

Lemonade - We used premade lemonade but you could easily use homemade lemonade. If you like a bubbly cocktail you can use sparkling lemonade.

Cute Paper Straws

You can also make this in a rocks glass if you want a stronger lavender flavor. The shorter glass will bring out more lavender flavor since you will not add in as much lemonade.

Recipe Tips

You can adjust the amount of lavender vodka used to get the perfect flavor you love. We like a light lavender flavor but you can easily adjust the amount of lemonade or vodka to get more flavor.

If you are serving this for a summer barbecue you can double, triple, or more the servings in the recipe card below and make this Lavender Lemonade Cocktail in a pitcher. If you fill the pitcher with ice make sure you serve it fairly quickly so the ice doesn't melt and water down the drink.

If you want a bit more bubbles you can also add a splash of prosecco to this cocktail.
