This Melon Crush Martini Recipe is the perfect combination of watermelon and cranberry to make a delicious cocktail! If you have read the blog for a while you know that I love trying new cocktails while sailing on Carnival Cruises. This is the perfect opportunity to try something new and not have to stress about driving home from a restaurant. All I have to do is enjoy a delicious drink while watching the world go by from the comfort of the ship. This Melon Crush Martini Recipe is from my sailing on the Carnival Splendor to Mexico.

The bartender at the El Mojito Wine Bar was fantastic and mixed up really great martinis and Moscow Mules. If you haven’t seen them check out the recipes for the Sea Blue Martini, Caribbean Sunset and Pomegranate Breeze Martini we enjoyed during our sailing.
During the cruise on the Carnival Splendor, we had the chance to visit Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta. It was the perfect break during the winter to sunshine and warm weather. Right, when I thought I would lose my mind over the snow and cold weather it was time to head south and soak up the beauty of Mexico.
We went on a whale watching in Cabo watched Humpback Whales with their babies. It was so cool seeing them in the water. I saw one breach and jump out of the water and I was so sad it was too far away for a photo. This is the first time I have seen one jump out of the water and I might have squealed in excitement when it happened.
We also went to Puerto Vallarta and participated in the Give Back with Purpose Community Tour which gave us the opportunity to see how funds from the excursion are used to support local communities. I was so impressed with the work being done to recycle everyday items and turn them into beautiful art.
The best part of our cruise on the Carnival Splendor was the three sea days with nothing planned but resting, relaxing and soaking it all in. Hanging out with great friends and just not stressing over the little things was so needed. Oh, and the Carly Rae Jepsen Concert on the Lido Deck was amazing!

- Absolut Vodka
- Monin Watermelon Syrup
- Lemonade
- Cranberry Juice

Melon Crush Martini Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Ounce Absolut Vodka
- 1 Ounce Monin Watermelon Syrup
- .5 Ounce Lemonade
- 1 Ounce Cranberry Juice
- Garnish with a lime
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake
- Strain into a chilled martini glass
- Garnish with a lime
