Cook Quinoa in a Crock Pot! Let the slow cooker do all the work for you! You end up with a great side dish that is perfect for salads or any recipe.
Easily adapted to use chicken stock or any other stock depending on your preference. It can be vegetarian or vegan!
I know that you can easily make Quinoa on the stovetop but I am going to be honest and say that there are nights that there is no way I am standing at the stovetop.
The only thing I want to do is scoop dinner out of the slow cooker and head to my comfy chair.
This slow cooker quinoa can be set up ahead of time so it is ready when you need it. One thing to make sure of is to watch the cooking time the first time you make this recipe. Some crockpots cook a lot higher and faster than others.
You will want to make sure and note how long it takes your specific crockpot to cook the quinoa. 5 hours worked for me but your crockpot could be as quick as 3 hours or take a little longer. Just plan the first time you make this crockpot quinoa that you will need to watch it a bit.

Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Quinoa
- 2 Cup Chicken Broth can easily change to vegetable broth
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and stir
- Cook on low 5-6 hours.ย
- Add a pat of butter and fluff with a fork if desired.
