A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the world premiere of the new Melissa McCarthy Movie Life of the Party at Auburn University! The movie is in theaters this Friday and you NEED to go see it with all of your girlfriends. My sides literally hurt the next morning from laughing so hard during this movie. I want to see it at least one or two more times to see all of the parts I missed from laughing so hard. In honor of the movie, I made this Raspberry Lemonade Moscato Punch Cocktail that is perfect for Mother's Day brunch, time with your girlfriends or sipping on the porch on a warm summer day.

Plus this cocktail is so dang easy to make you won't have to break a sweat preparing it. LOL!
In the movie, Melissa McCarthy and Maya Rudolph have a few epic scenes including one with wine coolers and racquetball. Their friendship is one of my favorite parts of the movie. It is a reminder that even though we are in our 40's we can still have a crazy good time and live our life to the fullest. This movie is a reminder that every day we make the choice of how we live our lives and what we focus on. This moscato punch cocktail was inspired by this scene.
I have to share with you how crazy amazing the premiere was at Auburn University. I love that Auburn University won the opportunity to host the event. They showed a ton of school spirit and welcomed us with open arms. I am so thankful Warner Brothers invited me to the event and gave me the chance to soak it all in.
The red carpet was lined with Auburn students holding signs greeting the cast of Life of the Party! It was so fun seeing everyone with signs and cheer sticks.
Luke Benward posed for photos and signed autographs as he walked the red carpet.
Melissa McCarthy was so sweet and posed with all of us on the red carpet. She was so friendly and fun to talk with.
Not going to lie this photo makes me crazy happy! I am so inspired by Melissa McCarthy and the work she has done.
