It is hard to believe we are less than a week away from Thanksgiving. I am not sure how that is possible because I am pretty sure it was just the Fourth of July. Are you ready for Thanksgiving?

Ingredients
- Onion,
- Oil
- Turkey
- Celery
- Carrots
- Long cooking wild rice
- Pepper
- Chicken broth
- Evaporated milk
- Flour
- Peas
Equipment Needed
Vegetable chopper - This is a huge time saver for chopping veggies.
Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot Turkey and Wild Rice Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- ยฝ cup Onion chopped
- 2 Teaspoon oil
- 1 cup turkey diced
- 1 cup Celery diced
- 1 cup Carrots diced
- ยฝ cup wild rice long cooking
- ยผ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 12 oz Evaporated Milk
- โ cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup peas
Instructions
- Cook onions
- add cooked onions, turkey, celery, carrots, rice and seasoning to crock pot
- Stir in chicken broth
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours
- Mix in evap milk, flour, stir in peas
- Cook on low for 20 minutes
