Recipe Variations
Substitutions: We like how the cream of chicken soup enhances the flavor of the turkey breast, but you can use another cream of condensed soup if you prefer a different taste. Cream of mushroom would be great if you like this vegetable.
Add in your favorite vegetables, tomatoes, fresh ginger, paprika, turmeric, red chili, onion, garlic, salt, and more to customize this recipe.
Vegetarian Option: Replace the cream of chicken soup and turkey breast cutlets with meatless substitutes to make this recipe vegetarian.
Vegan Option: In addition to the guidance for vegetarians, vegans should replace the heavy whipping cream with a plant-based alternative to make this recipe vegan.
Gluten-Free: Gluten-free eaters should swap the cream of chicken soup with a gluten-free alternative to make this CrockPot Turkey Curry safe for a gluten-free diet.
Alcohol-Free Option: We donโt use alcohol in this holiday leftover recipe, but we have seen other versions that add white or marsala wine for extra flavor.
Smaller Serving Size + Larger Group/More Servings: The written recipe makes six servings and scales readily to your desired yield. If you scale it up, you may need to work in batches according to your slow cookerโs capacity.
Make It Spicy: Add chili powder to taste if you want a spicy Turkey Curry.
Sugar-Free: The written recipe contains 2 grams of sugar per serving, with no single ingredient adding a significant amount.
