We use Sweet Baby Ray's Original Sauce
Instructions
Place pork butt in the slow cooker, pour in 1-2 cans of Dr. Pepper depending on how much pork you are cooking.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours.
Add 1-2 cans of Dr. Pepper to a sauce pan and bring to a boil, simmer for 30 minutes.
Pour barbecue sauce into the reduced Dr. Pepper and stir to combine
Remove pork from the crock pot and discard liquid in the crockpot.
Add pork back into the slow cooker and make sure it is fully shredded. Pour Dr. Pepper Barbecue Sauce over the pork and mix together.
Turn slow cooker to warm and serve
Notes
Larger pork butts will take longer to cook.
